“Sculpture is not something to worship but to enjoy its beauty.” The opening remarks from Pak Agus, NuArt Sculpture Park’s staff, reminded us of how to behave to the collection.
SMP Islam Tugasku chose NuArt Sculpture Park as the destination of Field Trip 2025 in the theme of Inspirational Figure. On Thursday (13/2) we took off from JIEP to Bandung to be inspired by I Nyoman Nuarta and to observe his artworks. Arrived at 11 AM, we were guided to the auditorium to watch some videos about I Nyoman Nuarta’s journey and achievements.
The next thing to do was observing the artworks, such as the Whale, Dewi Zalim, the miniature of Garuda Wisnu Rencana and the Garuda of the Presidential Palace in IKN. Walked in groups, we enjoyed the masterpiece and chose one that captivated us the most to be described in our poster.
From our trip, we could see how dedication and hardwork are one of the keys in becoming legendary.
